RootToWin.com Refund Policy

  1. This is the refund policy for products and services purchased through all divisions, venues or for any party who provides such products or services on the web site RootToWin.com.
  2. When applicable , all staff members will advise customers upon request, prior to the completion of their initial sale, of the following policy and will provide a written copy upon request. Links to the refund policy will be available online from the web site home page and from all purchase related pages on the web site.
  3. We, as the merchant , provide both products (goods) and services (information) to our customers directly by telephone, by direct mail, through recorded messages on 800 or 900 telephone numbers, and on the Internet.
  4. When a service is being provided with information procured from an outside source, the subscribers are informed where that information is coming from, prior to completion of the sale, so they are, therefore, aware of exactly what type of information they will be receiving. Should these types of services be available online, the specific sources of the information will be detailed in the service description.
  5. When merchandise or products are purchased through a Direct Mail advertisement or via the Internet, the guarantee, if any, is included in the mailing, promotion or service description on the web site. Our advertising will also include the terms and conditions for refunds on any books, publications and/or systems purchased.
  6. When services are purchased as a "Direct Phone-In Service" wherein selections are provided to a clients who telephone the company for their information, or "Internet Service" wherein selections are provided online through our web site, there will be no refunds after that service is provided. More specifically, once the customer has received any selections for a given service, no refund can be issued. Make-up or substitute services will be provided as "Service Credits" for services which are deemed unsatisfactory.

Our services are the absolute best we can make them. Since the service includes Sports or Horse Racing handicapping information, just as with the Stock Market, our customers must recognize that the information cannot be guaranteed, and that past performance is not indicative of future results. What is guaranteed is that each and every customer will receive the service that was purchased in full.

  1. When a guarantee for services is offered as part of an individual or special promotion, the specific terms of that guarantee will be included in the promotion. The guarantee will be described in a direct mail promotion for the specific product or service or in a the service description for the specific product or service on the Internet and said guarantee will be for that specific product or service only. Whether the guarantee will be for additional services or for a pro-rated refund shall be specified. Unless otherwise stated in writing, cash refunds shall not be issued without the prior written approval of the Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
  2. When, at the time of order, a subscriber requests a pro-rated cash refund guarantee, it will be negotiated directly with the sales representative, and the terms will be included in the customer's sales account record. A copy of the terms will be sent to the customer upon request, but will be maintained as part of the customer's permanent account record. We will provide these pro-rated cash refund guarantees in writing to the customer only at the customer's request. Pro-rated cash refund guarantees will not be permitted on all services.
  3. To reiterate, customers will be advised of the refund policies, upon request, at the time of their original order. They may be directed to the web site to view the specifics of the policy or a written copy of the policy will be provided upon request.
